Director Kannan, who is gearing up for the release of his next Boomarang with Atharvaa and Mega Akash (seen recently in Rajini's Petta), has joined hands with the hero once again. An action entertainer, the film has Samuthirakani playing a key character and sharing screen space with Atharvaa for the first time. Comedian Satish has also been roped in. “Both Atharvaa and Kani have different dimensional roles and unique character arcs,” reveals Kannan.
He adds, “Initially, I was reluctant to ask Atharvaa if he would like to work with me again, but he knocked off my doubts by giving an instant nod. Moreover, I was happy to hear him say that he loved my pattern of work, which brings up an additional responsibility to stride with same efforts for this project too”.
Composer Radhan of Arjun Reddy fame who has given fabulous music for Boomerang has been repeated once again for the new untitled project.
Prasanna Kumar will be seen behind the camera. While Boomerang, released by Trident Arts, is set to hit the marquee on March 1, the new film will start rolling by April end.
