Taking a cue from the SRK-starrer Om Shanti Om where more than 20 Hindi stars appeared in a song, it was director KV Anand who brought many well-known stars dancing to the Aganaga number in his film Ko few years ago.
Now, debut director Adhirupan, a former assistant of Bala, is trying to create similar magic for his upcoming flick Mupparimaanam featuring Shanthanu and Srushti Dange in the lead.
He has roped in 27 artistes including Jackie Shroff, Prabhu, Bhagyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Arya, Radhikaa, Poornima, Vivekh, Parthiepan, Venkat Prabhu, Vijay Antony, Bobby Simha, Sangeetha and Krish among others for a song.
While GV Prakash has composed the peppy number, dance master Brindha has done the choreography on a huge set, which was erected recently in the city.
National award-winners Thambi Ramaiah and Appu Kutty appear in crucial roles in the flick as well.
