Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen in Aishwarya Dhanush’s Vai Raja Vai in 2015 and shifted bag and baggage to B’town, returns to the south with a female centric bilingual thriller in Tamil and Telugu titled Game Over, directed by Ashwin Saravanan who gave Maya with Nayanthara. Now, it is reported that Bollywood filmmaker/actor Anurag Kashyap will present the Hindi version of the film.
“When I heard the script, I knew it has international appeal and considering the people behind it, I had a strong belief in the product,” Taapsee had said in a statement.
Game Over has been shot in different locations across Tamil Nadu and Telugu states. While Ron Ethan Yohann is the composer, A Vasanth will be cranking the camera. Y NOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment bankroll the film.
“Ashwin has pushed the boundaries and has made a genre-bending film, something that we all have never seen before,” posted Kashyap. Meanwhile, Taapsee has been considered to play the lead in Jayam Ravi’s next which is the latter’s milestone 25th film.
