Looks like the Vikram-Nayanthara-Nithya Menen starrer Iru Mugan, directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Shibu, has cleared all problems and is gearing up for a big release today.
Auraa Cinemas, who has bought the distribution rights of Iru Mugan in Tamil Nadu, is leaving no stones unturned and promoting it in a big way.
Says Mahesh of Auraa, “It is one of the most anticipated films in recent times. We are releasing it in as many as 400 screens in TN and are confident of its success.” When we ask why the movie is slated to release on Thursday (September 8), when there isn’t a long holiday weekend, he says, “Sentimentally, eight is a lucky number for Vikram — his birthday falls on the eighth, and all his earlier movies like Anniyan and I were released on eighth and they went on to become blockbusters.”
