Angadi Theru was a blockbuster a few years ago and catapulted Anjali to great heights. But its lead hero, who was the hugely talented Mahesh, is yet to taste success. The actor returns after a gap with a movie En Kadhali Scene Podra, which has Shalu romancing him. Ramesha of Tea Kadai Bench fame wields the megaphone.
Talking to us, Ramesha says, “The story is inspired from real life incidents plus some things from my imagination. It’s a complete entertainer and, at the same time, there’s a message to the society. Everyone is intelligent in his or her own way. But, instead of putting it to good use, someone wants to use it for destroying others and what happens then forms the crux.”
Sources say that Mahesh has a solid role and is confident that the film will give him the necessary break. Amrish scores the music.
