The much-hyped casting of Akshara Haasan, younger daughter of Kamal Haasan in Vishal-Mysskin combo —Thupparivaalan seems to have fizzled out! Close sources to the production house reveal that Akshara, who is busy with her shooting schedules of the Ajith-Siva film, Thala 57, could not honour the dates given to Vishal Film Factory, who is bankrolling the film. Without wasting time, Mysskin roped in Andrea to fit the role.
When Akshara was brought on board for Thupparivaalan, everyone including Vishal was raving about her and why she was chosen for the unusual role. In fact, the Shamitabh actress came all the way from Mumbai for the narration and was very happy with Mysskin’s script and instantly gave her nod.
It seems that Akshara’s earlier commitment — Thala 57’s shooting schedule was clashing with Thupparivaalan’s dates which is why the actress had to step out of the project. Earlier, we reported that Andrea had also joined the cast, but only now has it been revealed that she has replaced Akshara. VFF’s spokesperson confirmed the news to DC, saying, “It was with mutual consent that she has opted out of the project.”
