Chennai: Actor Suriya helped an accident victim couple severely injured on the road in Chittoor. Suriya who is shooting for his upcoming flick S III, a sequel to his blockbuster Singam under Hari’s direction in Edigapalle village of Madanapally mandal was returning to his hotel after wrapping up the day’s work. On his way, he noticed a couple lying on the road.
Though the man had minor injuries, the woman was reportedly severely injured. He took them in his car to the nearest hospital where she was given first aid, but doctors advised surgery, which was not possible there. Without wasting time the 7 Am Arivu actor swiftly shifted the woman to Venkateshwara multi-specialty hospital at Tirupati in an ambulance.
Sources said that he also took the help of actress and sitting MLA Roja’s help and personally accompanied the couple to the Tirupati hospital where she got life saving treatment.
