Anushka Shetty is elated after receiving a phone call from Superstar Rajinikanth for her performance in the recently released horror thriller Bhaagamathie. She may have been getting a lot of accolades from audiences and peers for her alluring performance in the film, but the leggy actress says that the one from Rajini is very special.
The Arundhati star is quoted as saying, "Rajinikanthgaaru watched the film and called me and heaped his compliments. I was so happy because I never expected a call from him. His praises are the best thing to have happened to Bhaagamathie so far."
Directed by Ashok, Anushka essayed an IAS officer who is held captive in a haunted castle as part of a secret investigation by the police. The film was also declared a box-office hit. One may recall that Anushak earlier shared screen space with Rajinikanth in Lingaa.
