There is a dearth of actresses in Kollywood and Tollywood — the few who are doing well are forever in demand. Many believe that, when these actresses are in demand, they start throwing tantrums.
Take Keerthy Suresh for instance. The actress whose first Telugu film Nenu Sailaja was a super hit, soon received several projects and became extremely busy in Tamil. Thenn she was once again paired opposite Nani in Nenu Local, the shoot of which is almost complete and there are only a few days left for the film shoot to wrap up.
In the meantime, the actress was signed up for a film opposite Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan and that’s when the tantrums began — “Ever since this big project was announced, she has been coming late to the sets and often doesn’t even get out of her caravan. It’s the last leg of the shooting, so the filmmakers can’t even do anything,” says a source. Sources say that from her next film onwards, Keerthy could even hike her remuneration.
