The music launch of Jayam Ravi’s upcoming first space film Tik Tik Tik was a grand affair. The actor was present with his little son Aarav who makes his acting debut. Actress Nivetha Pethuraj made heads turn with her glam outfit.
Apparently, the Shakthi Soundarrajan-directed film is very significant to composer Imman as it is his 100th film as music director.
Speaking on the occasion Ravi, who has acted in Shakthi’s zombie film Miruthan, said, “When I told that I am acting in a space thriller, no one believed. It was like I had said that I am going to sell water, no one would have bothered to listen. But, it is always the case with Tamil audiences — they always support good and quality films and hence I am confident that Tik Tik Tik will also be lapped up by the audiences.”
He added, “The mammoth sets erected as the space research centre for the film with minute detailing made the actors’ job easy. We had several questions and confusions initially as how we would perform and in which backdrop. But art director Moorthy and Shakthi should be lauded for their fascinating creative work.”
Talking about Aarav, he said, “He has a positive attitude and takes things as it comes. That’s how he was roped in by the director and as a co-artiste and dad of Aarav, I request all to extend the same support to my son.”
