The audio launch of Prithivirajan starrer Thodraa which took place recently saw several bigwigs from the industry. Prithivirajan, son of ace actor-filmmaker Pandiarjan, returns in a solid role after a gap. Veena from Kerala is the lead heroine.
The film is directed by veteran Bhagyaraj’s assistant Madhuraj and has music by Utthamaraja. Jayachandra Saravana Kumar produces the film, which talks about honour killing and director A.Venkatesh essays a crucial role
Speaking on the occasion, Bhagyaraj said, “My protégé Pandiarajan seems upset about his son’s career not picking up yet. If he feels so much, imagine how much I would have felt for my son Shanthanu. Fourteen years back he was offered the lead role in the cult film Kaadhal, but since I felt Shanthanu was too young to act in that role, I turned it down. Later Bharath did it and he got a big break. So, everyone has a time and things will fall in place then. So, Pandiarajan need not worry about it.”
A whole lot of Prithivirajan’s cricket friends including Bharath, Harish, Sharan and Srikanth were right there to pat him. Namitha was spotted along with her husband Veera on the occasion.
