We had earlier reported that director Chinaas Palanisamy’s maiden directorial, Meow is a tribute to pet lovers. While a Persian cat named Selfie plays the lead role alongside Raja, Sanjay, and Urmila — the director promises that the film has a strong message for the women of today. Meow is a horror thriller about a possessed cat who plans to take revenge.
Speaking about the movie, he says, “The film will create awareness among women who are depressed in life because of failure in love. I wrote the script based on several real-life incidents that struck me. We have planned to release the film on December 30 and are confident that it would stand out in the crowd.”
Chinaas completed the entire film in just 34 days, but the post-production work took nearly a year. “Ramesh Acharya worked on the VFX and his work was impeccable. One cannot find out the difference between the real cat and the fake one,” he shares.
