It appears after Taramani — where she played a free-spirited girl and earned critical acclaim — filmmakers in the industry have started writing scripts for Andrea. She has been roped in for a movie titled Ka where she portrays a wildlife photographer. Ka, short form of Kaadu, Kaanagam in Tamil (forest, dense jungle), is centred on Andrea and she will be documenting wild animals, their behaviour and their lives in dense woods.
Talking about the film, director Nanjil says, “It’s a crime thriller and when I completed the script, Andrea fitted my lead protagonist to a T. The entire shooting takes place inside dense forests. After our recce for locations, we have chosen forests areas of Andaman, Munnar and other parts of the Western Ghats and shooting will commence soon.”
Actor Salim Ghouse returns in a pivotal role after a gap and Ilavarasu will be seen in a key character. Produced by Shalom Studios, the film has Amrish as the music composer.
