Kajol gets busy

Kajol, who had earlier declared that she wanted to do only one film a year, surprisingly has almost three releases this year! To begin with, she has Karan Johar’s My Name Is Jhan, followed by Kireet Khurana’s Toonpur Ka Superhero and Siddharth Malhotra’s movie tentatively titled Love You Maa with Kareena Kapoor.

The actress says that the prospect is “shocking and scary”. “I didn’t realise that I was working so much. I’ve always wanted to do only one film a year. Funnily enough, I shot for Toonpur Ka Superhero last year but it’s releasing this year. As I said earlier, my priority is my family and I have a life beyond my work as well. I have always been choosy about the films that I did anyway, and now that I am married and have a child, I will be super choosy,” says the feisty actress.

In My Name Is Khan, Kajol will be sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and in Toonpur Ka Superhero, she will be seen with husband Ajay Devgn. “My choice of films have never depended on the hero. I think I’d like to continue doing good work and work on interesting scripts. No run-of-the-mill stuff for me,” she smiles.
