Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin: This was the most unexpected union. In early July, TMZ.com reported that Bieber and Baldwin got engaged in the Bahamas. They secretly tied the knot on September 13, in New York City just two months after getting engaged reported People.com. “They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone,” a source close to the couple told People.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemswroth: Cyrus and Hemsworth surprised their fans when they revealed that they got married on December 23, after knowing each other for about 10 years. The 26-year-old singer posted two sweet photos from the intimate ceremony on Wednesday on her social media accounts, showing the newlyweds sharing a kiss in one. “This is probably our one millionth kiss,” the Malibu singer captioned the shot of the couple celebrating in their Franklin, Tennessee home.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk: The actress and TV producer tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony held in New York’s Hamptons on September 29. The nuptials were attended by many of their famous pals, including Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz, Benji Madden, Robert Downey Jr., and Jerry Seinfeld, who hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner for the pair at his Hamptons home.
Claire Holt and Andrew Joblon: Less than one year after sharing news of her engagement, Claire Holt married Andrew Joblon. The Originals star announced on Instagram that she said ‘I do’. “8.18.18,” Holt captioned a photo of the couple at their wedding.
Kit Haringtonand Rose Leslie: After dating for years, the Game of Thrones stars tied the knot on June 23 in a romantic ceremony at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland. The star-studded celebration which included many of their costars as guests continued at the bride’s family’s castle.
Quentin Tarantino and Daniella Pick: The writer-director married his fiancée in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles on November 28, as reported by People.com. Pick wore a white dress, white veil with a sweetheart neckline and tiara while Tarantino looked dapper in a black suit. The filmmaker met Israeli singer and model Pick, who is the daughter of Israeli singer and songwriter Tzvika Pick, in 2009 while promoting his film Inglorious Basterds. The pair got engaged in June 2017, after dating for about a year.
Matthew Lewis and Angela Jones: Most Harry Potter fans agree that Neville Longbottom always deserved a happy ending. And now it seems Matthew Lewis (the actor who played Longbottom) has found happiness, too. The 28-year-old British star married his girlfriend Angela Jones on May 29, this year. “Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in L.A. but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming,” Lewis jokingly tweeted after exchanging vows, rather than seeing a British band perform.
