Sandra Bullock's stalker on probation

The judge also ordered Corbett to stay away from Sandra for 10 years.

Sandra Bullock’s stalker, Joshua Corbett, who had broken into her home and was held in jail on burglary and felony stalking charges, has struck a bail plea deal, and is set to be released in a few days. Despite not being imprisoned, the adjournment of the case brings the actress some comfort as the judge has ordered the man to serve five years of probation. He will also continue to get in-patient treatment at a mental-health facility.

TMZ.com reports that this order is comforting for Bullock as until now, she only had a restraining order against the stalker — which doesn’t guarantee anything if the person is suffering from mental instability and does not take his medicines because nobody is watching over him. Now that Joshua is in probation, he will be monitored by a probation officer. The judge also ordered Corbett to stay away from Sandra for 10 years.
