After 22 years of marriage, 85-year-old talk show host Larry King and his 59-year-old wife Shawn Southwick seem to be parting. As per Eonline, August 20, Larry filed for divorce against Shawn in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Though not much is clear at this point about what got them here, Larry and Shawn seem to have had a bumpy marriage given the number of times they’ve come to the verge of splitting. The couple, who have two sons together, Chance Armstrong King, 20, and Cannon Edward King, 19, had filed for divorce back in 2010 but reconciled. They hit another bump in 2016, when Shawn was accused of infidelity. However, the couple had publicly reconciled, clearing the air about the alleged unfaithfulness during an interview with Home & Family.
News of the divorce, which was first reported by The Blast, comes around four months after Larry revealed that he was hospitalised due to chest pain, although his reports had later clarified that he didn’t have a heart attack. This was Larry’s eighth marriage and Shawn’s third.
