On Friday, Ewan McGregor filed for divorce from his wife of 22 years, Eve Mavrakis. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.com. The actor has asked for joint custody of their three children; Clara, 21, Jamyan, 16, Esther, 15 and Anouk, 6. Meanwhile, Eve is reportedly asking for sole custody, with visitation for her ex, according to the website.
A source revealed to People.com earlier that the couple had been separated since last May. The announcement came amid news that McGregor was spotted kissing his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Winstead split from her husband, Riley Stearns, in May of last year.
