Actor Johnny Depp has finally settled his blockbuster lawsuit against his former business managers, reports TheHollywood Reporter.com. On Saturday, the final deal was made at a mediation session.
Depp had filed a $25 million dollar fraud case against The Management Group in early 2017. The actor had alleged being a victim of misconduct and that the company had failed to properly file or pay his taxes on time, loaned money to third parties without authorisation and was self-dealing by investing his money in business ventures in which the firm’s partners had ownership stakes.
The firm had represented Depp for over 17 years. According to reports, the firm had constantly warned and advised Depp to control his spendthrift attitude and sell unnecessary assets.
