Chris Hemsworth and Jack Black's battle

The playful battle began due to the use of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song in the Marvel movie.

Jack Black called out Chris Hemsworth through Thor: Ragnarok director Taiki Waititi’s Twitter. The playful battle began due to the use of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song in the Marvel movie. Black had sang the song in School of Rock, and joked that the filmmakers stole the idea for Thor, according to Entertainment Tonight. “You totally poached our jam. This is a challenge. I’m challenging you to a battle. A battle of the jams!” Black says in the video.

Hemsworth responded on Instagram, admitting that he was “guilty as charged”. He said, “I don’t know what that means. I know what jam is, jam on toast,” adding, “My place or yours, baby, I’m in.” Black later shared a jam session video from the set of his new movie with Cate Blanchett, who is also Hemsworth’s co-star in the Marvel movie.
