Social media was buzzing with criticism of Nicki Minaj for having posted a video clipping of an apparent mentally unstable woman. In the video, she is heard laughing at the woman and trying to make conversation with her. Now, a mental health organisation has also condemned the act.
TMZ.com reports that The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-Miami) calls the clip invasive of the woman’s privacy and that it dehumanises her. “Nobody would make fun of a cancer patient, and mental illness is an illness like any other,” said a representative from NAMI.
