If you’ve been as wonder stuck as we are about how Will Smith appears younger for his dual roles in the new movie Gemini Man, out in theatres on 11 October, then we’ve got news for you.
According to www.justjared.com, Will recently discussed how Ang did the trick. “What Ang did is he looked through my filmography and he created takes of things —Fresh Prince, Men in Black, Independence Day — I was like yo, this is great, this guy’s a real fan. And he went through and he’d grab these things and he sat me down and was like, ‘This is great, look at how your eyes communicate, it’s the essence of innocence.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, that’s what I was doing.’ Then he’d go, ‘This one is very, very bad. Do not do this in my movie,’” Will said (via SFGate.com).
Ang, for his part, talked about how he knew in his head that scientifically it’d work. “I called it a leap of faith. I was extremely nervous, not for myself, but for investors. It’s a privilege to imitate God’s work and to play with animation,” he added.
