Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s cousin who had made her stage debut three years ago is now all set to enter films after being signed to do the lead in the redux of the 2003 Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao starrer Ishk Vishk “It feels like years of austerity and hard work is finally bearing fruits. Producer Ramesh Taurani says, “Taking on a whole different perspective on the Gen Z dating culture, Ishq Vishk Rebound will upgrade our new-age idea of love. The casting for the film is just perfect and we are having a great time shooting for the film.”

Pashmina has a strong theatre background and has done a six-month acting course with SRK’s theatre guru Barry John, Abhishek Pandey, actress-director and recipient of the Sahitya Natak Akademi Award, Nadira Babbar, and American playwright Jeff Goldberg.

Jeff had directed her in the Oscar Wilde play, The Importance of Being Earnest in November 2019 and was to be launched two years ago, but the debut was delayed due to Covid.
