Matthew McConaughey to teach film making

McConaughey is a graduate from UT with a Bachelor's degree in radio, television and film.

There’s a rumour doing the rounds that Matthew MConaughey will be teaching students at The University of Texas. McConaughey, who won an Oscar for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club, will return to his Alma mater to teach a film making class at the Moody College of Communications along with Gary Ross, the director of the TV Show Hunger games.

University of Texas posted a video on Facebook and captioned it, “Meet Professor McConaughey.” They then wrote, “Matthew McConaughey will be back at the Moody College of Communication – UT Austin this fall to teach a film making class. Free State of Jones #HookEm.”

McConaughey is a graduate from UT with a Bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film. Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actor, was seen filming for his upcoming movie The Dark Tower in New York City. He is playing the role of “Man in Black” in the adaptation of the Stephen King novel. The movie will be released on February 17, 2017.
