Her lawyer says that they are now investigating Michael and his handing of their finances

Actress and singer Lisa Marie Presley is blaming her husband’s mismanagement of money as the reason for their divorce, according to her lawyer. TMZ.com reports that Lisa — daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis — had entrusted husband Michael Lockwood with their money, including earnings from Elvis’ royalties.
However, her lawyer says that they are now investigating Michael and his handing of their finances, especially after Lisa was slapped with a lawsuit for not paying a $109,000 bill for a credit card. The couple, however, did have a pre-nup in place, so Michael can’t ask for any of Elvis’ money during the divorce proceedings.
