Gul dropped from Crooked

Though Gul Panag claims that she opted out of Farhan Akhtar’s Crooked, sources say she was thrown out of the film. Apparently, she shot for the film for two days but director Abhinav Deo was far from impressed with her work and had no option but to ask her to leave. An angry Gul, however, has been spreading rumours that she was not happy with the script and so quit the film.

The source said, “Initially, Gul was very enthusiastic but once the film went on the floor, she seemed completely disinterested. In fact, leave alone dialogues, she could not even get her expressions right. After two days Deo and Gul amicably decided to part ways. However, the entire unit was shocked when they learnt that she was spreading these rumours. Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer of the film, was extremely upset but Farhan calmed him down.”

The source further added “Ritesh and Farhan have decided that they will not work with Gul ever again, as what she did was extremely unprofessional. Kangna has been roped in as her replacement.”
