Fired, a horror flick by iDream Productions, starring Rahul Bose and British supermodel Militza Radmilovic, is all set to make history. Unlike the trailers of all other films, which is aired on television first and then the Internet, the promos of this film will first hit the world wide web and then the small screen.

According to a source, the producers have got feelers from one of the members of the censor board that the film will be given an Adults Only certificate.

“Though the producers are yet to officially apply for the censor certificate, they thought it would be a wise decision to consult a censor authority on a personal level and know the outcome before hand. After watching the film, the authority stated that the trailer would be granted an A certificate, unless the gory scenes were deleted. The producers promptly cut the blood-soaked scenes out, yet the censor chief maintained that the edited version too would be given an ‘A’ certificate. That’s when the makers decided to release the trailers on the Net first, since the promo of an adult film cannot be aired on television.”

Jattin Kapoor, Marketing Head iDream Productions, says, “Yes, it is true that we are starting our promotion with the Internet. The trailers of Fired will go online in December.”
