Indian skipper Virat Kohli attended the second edition of the Indian Sports Honours with his wife Anushka Sharma, and the actress was extremely proud to support her husband. She even shared photos of their outfits for the function, and captioned it with a heart emoji.
Anushka says, “I am associated with it because my husband is associated with it. I think it’s a unique initiative where you have upcoming athletes with the capability, and you give them backing and support. Virat gave me many reasons to be proud of him and his foundation. I think you cover every sport and that increases sporting culture. The love that Indians have for sports has pushed the state forward.”
Indian Sports Honours aims to recognize and honour Indian athletes for their exceptional performances, sportsmanship and spirit of sport through a felicitation ceremony.
