Exclusive: Mohenjo Daro passed by the censor board with a U/A certificate

The Indian censor board has cleared the film with zero cuts, deeming it eligible for family viewing.

'Mohenjo Daro', the acclaimed director’s upcoming fictionalised period romance saga has been cleared by the censor board with a U/A certificate with absolutely no cuts. A screening for the censor board had been held a few days back and the board passed the movie unaltered, deeming it eligible for family viewing.

The much awaited tent-pole movie is Hrithik Roshan’s return to the big screen after 2014’s commercial success, Bang Bang. The movie, a fictitious tale set in the 'Mohenjo Daro' segment of the ancient Indus Valley civilisation has already hit optimal hopes amongst cinephiles with its novel trailer.

2010 Miss Universe runner-up Pooja Hegde makes her Bollywood debut with the film, which also stars Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh. The original soundtrack composed by AR Rahman has already achieved unanimous critical acclaim.

'Mohenjo Daro' will release on the 12th of August.
