Mumbai: Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have always maintained that the two are not ‘best friends’ but when they do meet, they get along like house on fire.
For the uninitiated, Ranbir and Avantika dated each other for a few years. After they parted ways, she tied the knot with Imran. Ranbir and Imran were then pitted against each other when they made their debuts in ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ respectively, but the two have shared a good relationship over the years.
Recently, the trio hung out together with common friends at a private dinner hosted by chef Gresham Fernandes in suburban Mumbai. Also present were Shriya Saran, restaurateur Riyaaz Amlani, Colombian chef Pablo Naranjo Agular and entrepreneur Pooja Dhingra.
Imran, his wife Avantika and Ranbir were spotted catching up and mingling with the other guests. Imran posted a picture and wrote, "Shoutout to the guys who made last night truly epic: Grehsam and Riyaaz Amlani. I owe you guys a homemade lasagne."
On work front, Imran was last seen in 'Katti Batti' and will next be seen in Aamir Khan's production. On the other hand, Ranbir is gearing up for the release of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Jagga Jasoos'.
