This is what Dhanush has to say on starring alongside Rajinikanth in Kaala Karikalan

Mumbai: The audio and trailer of Dhanush and Kajol starrer ‘VIP 2’ was launched in the city recently, and the trailer has been highly appreciated by the audience.

Apart from acting in ‘VIP 2,’ Dhanush is producing superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala Karikalan,’ which stars Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi alongside the ‘Thailavaa.’

However, there were rumours that apart from producing the film, Dhanush is also starring in it.

Addressing this question at the trailer launch of ‘VIP 2,’ Dhanush said, “I would love to act, but I seriously do not know anything about it. Yes agreed that I am the producer of the film, but I haven’t asked Ranjith. If it happens, I will be more than happy, as it is a privilege and an honour to act in superstar’s movie. I also know to imitate him slightly, so it would be great, but let’s see.”

Well, it will be quite a sight to watch him share the screen space with his real-life father-in-law Rajinikanth.

Rajini, who'll be locking horns with none other than Akshay Kumar in '2.0', is still basking in the phenomenal success that was 'Kabali', and the fans can barely contain their hysteria surrounding 'Kaala Karikaalan'. The film reunites Rajini with his 'Kabali' director.

Dhanush, who co-owns Wunderbar Films with wife Aishwarya, had taken to Twitter to announce the film in August 2016.

Huma Qureshi has also been roped in as his leading lady in the mammoth venture.
