Mumbai: After the success of the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ franchise, the trio of Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and director Luv Ranjan have shown promise with the trailer of their upcoming comedy ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ also starring their co-star from second installment, Sunny Singh.
While the concept of ‘bromance versus romance’ and some of the comic punches in the premise involving a 'love guru' advising his friend over relationships and eventually his 'too good to be true marriage' was interesting, here’s another aspect that is generating buzz for the film.
The makers have managed to rope in Yo Yo Honey Singh for a track.
Yo Yo, who was once the toast of the town belting out hits after hits, has been on a hiatus since 2015 and reportedly in rehabilitation owing to his health issues.
The rapper recreates Hans Raj Hans’ popular 2004 track ‘Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya' and is joined by Simar Kaur and Ishers for the track, as he brings in his typical rap lines involving alcohol, party and girls.
The lead actors, Kartik, Nushrat and Sunny are seen showing off their heavy-duty Punjabi moves and thumkas in this energetic Punjabi wedding number.
‘Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Wedding’ is gearing up for release on 9 February next year.
