The third season of Inside Edge, India’s first Original series for an OTT, is scheduled to release in the last quarter of this year. Besides others, it stars Richa Chadha, who continues to essay the character of Zarina Malik, which has numerous grey shades. Speaking of Zarina’s character, Richa admits she’s interesting although nothing like her in real life.
“I’m just the polar opposite of Zarina’s character, and this is one of the reasons I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing the role immensely. The love for power, fame and money comes alive in her character and is so real. I’m excited about the third season and look forward to the audience’s reviews because I feel Zarina, who’s been wronged in so many ways since Season 1, will claw her way back to the person she once was.”
Inside Edge is a fictional series that follows the trials, tribulations and triumphs of the Mumbai Mavericks, a fictional T20 cricket franchise playing in the PowerPlay League. The series’ first two seasons garnered much audience appreciation. Season 3, which is directed by Kanishk Varma, is in the works and will soon be released on an OTT platform. The series is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and created by Karan Anshuman.
