Watch: Da Da Dasse highlights Udta Punjab's darker and twisted issues
Mumbai: The makers of ‘Udta Punjab’ have now released a new song ‘Da Da Dasse’ from the film. Despite the song’s peppy beat, ‘Da Da Dasse’ highlights some of the most important issues that we’ll see in the film.
The song’s lyrics in itself depict an emotional saga. In the video, we see Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh fighting their own battles.
Penned by Shelle, the song is crooned by Kanika Kapoor and Babu Haabi.
'Udta Punjab' directed by Abhishek Chaubey deals with the murky state of affairs of a generation that finds pleasure in substance abuse.
It revolves around the lives of four protagonists - Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. The film will release on June 17, 2016.
