The film world is buzzing with news about a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While the topic is promising, it is yet to be seen who will portray the popular leader. Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher are in the running for the role.
“Of course, the final decision will be left to the party high command,” says a source close to the project, adding, “But it will be an official biopic showing Modiji’s rise from being the poorest of the poor to the holder of the highest office of the land.”

While Akshay Kumar is a popular choice for his quality to draw in the audience, others feel Paresh Rawal, with his Gujarati cultural identity, would make a great Modiji. Only time will tell who finally bags the prestigious role.
