Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Sanju' is this year's one of the hotly anticipated movies. The posters, teaser and trailer have created huge excitement for director Rajkumar Hirani's next film. Ranbir will be seen playing Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt's character in his biopic. The trailer boldly revealed that Dutt has been romantically involved with about 308 girls in his lifetime. The young Sanjay Dutt was a drug addict, an alcoholic and had just got into numerous affairs with women.
But did you know that he used to con them all by taking them to hi mother’s fake grave? Rajkumar Hirani himself revealed recently.
In his recent interview with India Today magazine, Rajkumar Hirani said, “He would start dating a girl and take her to this graveyard. He would say, ‘I have brought you here to meet my mother.’ After this unusual meeting, the girl would feel emotionally attached to Sanju. The reality was that the grave was not his mother’s.”
While he was fine with dumping them, he hated it when girls would dump him. Hirani recalled an incident when Sanjay went crazy after a girl dumped him. Narrating the incident the '3 Idiots' director said, “A girl broke up with him. So, Sanjay took his friend’s new car and smashed it into another car parked outside his ex-girlfriend’s house. Later on, Sanju found out that the car he rammed into belonged to his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend. Both cars were severely damaged.”
At the launch, when Ranbir was asked about the same, he said, “Unlike Sanju sir, I won't allow my biopic to be made. He is a courageous man who has given his life out there to be made into a movie. Well, my girlfriend count is less than ten.”
