During a recent fitness event, Sohail Khan, a fitness freak himself, tried a workout but was left panting for breath by the end of the exercise, as he asked for water.
Sohail is part of the forthcoming film, Tubelight, which will also see Shah Rukh Khan alongside of Salman Khan, for the first time after the duo have turned from foes to friends. Looks like the long-standing animosity has now turned into friendship between the two. In fact, these two Khans are the most talked about in B-Town now, especially after the latest episode of Big Boss this season that garnered the highest TRP.
Catching up with Sohail, we quizzed the actor-producer about the reunion of SRK-Salman. “It was very nice,” says Sohail, answering to-the-point.
But no sooner had we asked him, we spotted Salman baring his chest, a trend that was followed by most actors. Does Sohail agree that this act of Salman opened new vistas for other actors to showcase their sex appeal?
Pat comes the reply from brother Khan, “In the present scenario of the glitz and glamour world, when any actor or actress flaunts his/her body, we need to see it as a positive thing, as people try to follow them. It’s a proven fact that one cannot make a good body with bad habits. One has to have healthy habits to make a permanent good body. Undoubtedly, when Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Shilpa Shetty showcase their fitness, a lot of people take it as their ‘sex appeal’. But it is not. You have to look at it with a different perspective — they are showing off their healthy bodies.”
He continues, “Salman had worked hard on his body. And thus, he could afford to bare his chest for the song, O O Jane Jana.”
Reminiscing those days Sohail, adds, “Actually, the shirt was a little tight and one of the buttons had been ripped off. Bhai ne jab shirt uttari toh, we all felt that he looked great with a bare chest. That’s how he was filmed without a shirt for his movie for the first time.”
