And now after announcing their wedding dates on Instagram, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh confirmed their nuptials in grande style with a golden invite. After six years of dating each other, a tryst that began in 2012 while shooting Sanjay Leela Bansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, Deepika even spoke about her beau Ranveer on Karan Johar’s show Koffee with Karan on Sunday. The one thing she loves about Ranveer is that he is very emotional and cries easily, which tugs at her heart strings. She also let us in on a little secret — that she tolerates his dandy dress sense (sic) and how he loves to sleep! And that he is a mamma’s boy!
Their November wedding has gone viral on the Internet with stars wishing the to-be-married couple for their November 14 and 15 shaadi at Lake Como in Italy. Director Karan Johar himself commented on Deepika's post, writing, “lots and pots of love!” He also commented on Ranveer's post saying, “Badhai Ho.”
Sonam Kapoor, on the other hand, wrote on Ranveer’s post, “Congratulations! And tons of love to both of you.” Alia Bhatt also extended her wishes, commenting on Ranveer’s post, “Congratulations tutu what fun.” Parineeti Chopra too commented, “Congratssss RVVVVVV mera nutella babluuuu.”
Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor commented, “Congratulations!! @deepikapadukone @ranveersingh.”
While Sonakshi Sinha expressed her happiness, commenting, “Yayyyyyyy!!!!!”, Kriti Sanon also wished both of them, writing, “Congratulations lotss of love!” Bipasha Basu, Tiger Shroff, Badshah, Richa Chadha, Diana Penty and Abhishek Bachchan, among others, also extended their greetings to the two.
