Watch: Did we just see SRK in the first trailer of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil?

Mumbai: The first trailer of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is here and we can't help but admire the palpable chemistry between the actors in the film.

The film, helmed by Karan Johar, has Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan playing the protagonists, involved in multiple love triangles, creating a complex amalgam of passionate and unrequited love.

But what caught our attention in the trailer, the most, was a scene where Ranbir seems to be speaking to an unidentified character, who holds eery semblance to superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Karan, who had revealed that he had shot with Shah Rukh briefly, without specifying on what film, amidst rumours of SRK playing a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, seems to have decided to tease his audience with this snippet.

Though, there's comparatively little of Fawad Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a trailer predominantly revolving around Ranbir and Anushka, they do leave their mark. Aishwarya, especially, reminds one of the yesteryear's enigmatic Rekha.

We'll have to wait and watch now, to see which film scores big at the box-office and which fails, or if both of them can survive without eating much into the other's pie.
