Pregnant or not, filmmakers with a role will approach me: Kareena Kapoor Khan

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan is expecting her baby in December and there have been numerous reports about her pregnancy affecting her film or any prospective films.

When Saif Ali Khan had announced Kareena’s pregnancy, there were reports that her film ‘Veere Di Wedding’ might no longer feature her, though the makers later had confirmed that the film will go on with her.

Recently, Rohit Shetty, too, said that he finds it odd to approach Kareena for ‘Golmaal 4’ due to her pregnancy. When asked about it at an event, Kareena said, “I think those who have a role for me, they’ll come to me, pregnant or not. I don’t think there is anything wrong in that. And why should he be scared. I should be scared of him.”

Rohit had also said that Kareena might only feature in a special song in the film. However, Kareena stated, “Not even thinking of that right now.”

About working even in her pregnancy, Kareena asserted, “I will definitely go on with my normal life. I am a working woman and there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. I love my job and I am very passionate about it. Jab se apni maa ke pet me thi, tabse main acting karna chahti thi. So yes, I will continue acting all my life, till I am 80. So if there is a role for me, why should I not do it.”

The only film Kareena has signed till now is a chick-flick, starring Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. When asked if the makers will hide Kareena’s pregnancy which clearly shows? “I am not going to hide anything and camouflage it for the screen at all. I am very proud of the phase I am in and there is nothing to hide about it. Whichever film I choose to do, will see me the way I am… Right now, we are still working on dates, what we’re going to do, whether we are going to start the film now, all depends on how I feel.”
