Bigg Boss fame Lopamudra Raut is all set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Blood Story’. She plays the lead role in the film and today along with the rest of the team, she has unveiled the first official poster of the film. The first official poster of ‘Blood Story’ was released today in Mumbai in the presence of famous director of the film is none other than famous Kannada director Hemanth Hegde. The film is produced by N. Lakshmi Narayana, ‘Blood Story’ stars Lopamudra Raut as one of the lead character in the film. The male lead probably is from Bollywood too. Under their unique publicity strategy the director Hemant has decided to open the secret on 11th, August in another event which will be held in Bangalore…So guys wait to know who that incredible actor is?? An exclusive rendezvous with Deccan Chronicle by Lipika Varma follows.

Lopamudra is all set to debut in a film with a unique concept. The title of the film is intriguing which goes as ‘Blood Story’….Lopamudra is carrying a red umbrella and dressed in virgin white attire. Ask her what’s the secret of the ‘Bloody red umbrella?’ she is quick to reply, “In fact you rightly guessed ….it’s not signifying the little red riding hood instead its signifying an umbrella which turns bloody while moving in the rains…may be??” Lopa smiles.

However, the Kannada director Hemanth Hegde had indeed discussed about casting Lopa in a Kannada film. Lopa reveals then how he decided to make a Hindi film? “Look! After watching me in Bigg Boss, Hemanth liked me and therefore called me to meet him. He was earlier casting me in a Kananda film. But somehow he then decided to go with this Hindi Script. The suspense ,thrill ,emotions and drama in the story line is intriguing hence director Hemant asked me if I would debut with this Hindi venture. I was really on the seventh heavan .As all of us know Hindi films have a humongous reach all over the globe. I had no reasons to say no.Also I am open to work in any regional film too if the script is good .Be it then Telugu, Tamil Marathi or Punjabi films I will like to work in it,” she mentions.

Adding more Lopa says, “His films have been block buster films down South. After admiring my exposure in the Big Boss he had decided to cast me. It’s a compliment to me when he finds my acting capabilities’ matching his character on reel. As an actor what more do I want?"

All praises for this Kananda director Hemanth Hegde she says, “Director Hemanth knows his job well. He has a few films to his credit. His few films have been remade by the Hindi film industry too. While a few were remade official and the rest were made unofficially.

We all know Salman Khan is Lopamudra’s favorite actor so will we see her working with him in his production house is our next obvious question? “After doing the reality show Big Boss, I met Salman Khan only once on some shoot. I would love to work with him in his production house. ….I’m very small and young to have any ego I don’t have any ego when it comes to work opportunity whatever comes my way ,if the story is interesting and intriguing I would love to be apart of that film indeed,” she tells.

Lopa has a much grounded concept about stardom which she has started treading ion with this debut film ‘Blood Story’, “Stardom is by product of our work .I do not believe in running after stardom. We need to do good work and create our own credibility .Above being a good artist we need to be a good human beingh. If we simply work in a focused manner, stardom will follow.”

Lopa’s ego has never been hurt yet but she says,’ there is hierarchy in every government, firm, industry and profession. Undeniably, the film industry too is not untouched by this hierarchy. I cannot compare myself with Shahrukh Khan or Vidya Balan and others. They have made a place for them with their hard work and been there for long. They are all my favourite actors I have grown watching them. However, in case I am at the same event, while the photographers are clicking me and if they see Shahrukh Khan and turn their cameras towards him, neglecting me. My ego will not be hurt. But yes, for me sharing the same platform and being with them in the same event is a huge thing. I respect this opportunity bestowed upon me.”

Lopa is focused in her work but she knows boys who may be hovering around her. “Look! I would not deny that boys like to hover around any good looking and a beautiful girl. But I am too busy to look at anyone of them. I am focused in my work at the moment It’s not all work and no pay for me. I have my other hobbies to enjoy. Undeniably, I am single and nit ready to mingle at the moment .Also I do not care about those men who may be hovering around me….simply because I know I will never fall a prey to those men hovering around me.. Instead. I believe in hunting my own prey,” she concludes.
