Aishwarya Rai Bachchan surprises every mother when she says that she doesn’t need a nanny to take care of Aaradhya. Despite her busy shooting schedules and promotional events for Sarbjit, she keeps her child around, turning herself into an encyclopedia for moms who find it difficult to manage professional and personal lives with such perfection.
Ash says she never explains to her about her movies, trailers or teasers etc, but Aaradhya seems to be smart enough to guess that her parents and grandparents do something on screen. She even went on to surprise her mom as Aishwarya tried to put her to sleep before going for the premiere of Sarbjit. “Oh, you are playing Dalbir Kaur in the film, I know,” Aaradhya said. She would also notice her mom’s posters, point out at them and ask “where am I?”
The flawless beauty is known as a flawless professional too. “My profession is Saraswati to me. I dedicate myself completely to it,” she says. And she takes Aaradhya to the sets as well.
“Aaradhya stays in the van and we steal time during my lunch break. I put her to sleep before returning to work. And when I finish my shoot in the evening, on the way home, traffic snarls give us an hour or two, which is her learning time — like little poems and alphabets.” That’s how time management should be done.
