Sushant preps up for Chanda Mama Door Ke, visits U.S. Space and Rocket Center

The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan in pivotal roles.

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput is known to get into the skin of his characters, which was amply evident in his portrayal of MS Dhoni in the latter's biopic.

Once again, the actor has decided to perfect his act and is taking various lessons to play an astronaut in his upcoming science fiction film, 'Chanda Mama Door Ke'.

The ‘Raabta’ actor recently visited the U. S. Space and Rocket Center museum in Huntsville, Alabama. The museum showcases rockets, achievements, and artifacts of the U.S. space program.

The actor keenly observes the miniature aircraft all set to take off. However, we couldn’t take our eyes off his cap with the initials of his name. It reads: SSR.

On Twitter, he captioned the picture as, "From a miniature Rocket to a life size one, this grown up kid will never cease to Dream. My mother always wanted her 'Sushant in Space'!! (sic)"

This caption proves that how elated and proud his mother would have been!

Sushant was even earlier seen taking lessons on flight simulation, where he seemed quite comfortable with the cockpit. He was seamlessly seen pacing his aircraft during the simulation and taking off sans a single glitch.

The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan in pivotal roles and is reportedly said to have south superstar Mohanlal in a cameo.

Sushant, reportedly will sport three different looks in the film. However, not much is known about the story of the Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan directorial.

When Sushant was quizzed about working in 'Chanda Mama Door Ke,' by a portal, he had said, "I am looking forward to that experience. For 18-19 years of my life, I have been studying all these theories of (Isaac) Newton and (Albert) Einstein. Now for the very first time, I will go there and experience all these things that was only in my head so far. I will experience zero gravity for the first time and I will experience how does it feel to walk on the moon. All these things that I only studied or have the concept in my head, I will explore now, so I am really excited. The best thing about this is that NASA has been kind enough to allow me to come there and actually experience the authentic training that they are asked to do."

Though Sushant's performance in 'M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story' was unanimously appreciated, the awards have evaded him this season, much to the actor's displeasure.
