Saif makes distress call to change Chef trailer post lukewarm response

Saif Ali Khan has been trying to score a hit film at the box office for a long time. Now, he has pinned his hopes on his upcoming film, Chef.

After the trailer’s lukewarm response, the actor is very worried. He now wants changes to his film to suit Bollywood ‘sensibilities’.

Saif has asked for changes to be made not just to the film, but also to its forthcoming trailers. “Saif wants a hit. His previous outings haven’t done well at the box office. He has worked with some interesting names but they have not managed to get a hit film in recent times,” says a source.

And that is the reason why Saif has asked for changes in the Raja Krishna Menon directed film.

“Saif is a big star. He could have continued to be a part of the big league had he not chosen to work in the wrong movies. He wants to make sure he gets a hit now,” adds the source.

Saif is the biggest name in the film, with South Indian actress Padmapriya and child actor Svar Kamble. With Raja’s last film Airlift being a surprise success, Saif hopes his director will halt the downward slide in his career.
