A box office clash isn’t the best thing to happen to a film. And yet, it has become de rigour. While some filmmakers push the release dates, others take the challenge head on.
Ever since Dilwale’s collection was affected by Bajirao Mastani, Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t been a big fan of the latter option. The actor recently met filmmaker Rakesh Roshan to avoid a clash between Raees and Roshan’s Kaabil, but neither of them pushed the dates by the end of the meeting.
We now hear that Gauri Shinde’s much-awaited SRK-Alia starrer Dear Zindagi is scheduled to hit the screens alongside Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani 2, starring Vidya Balan on November 25.
Interestingly, Kahaani makers had announced the release date of their film earlier this year, when the film went on the floors. It’s now to be seen who blinks first this time — or if one of them does at all.
