Richa Chadda seeks blessing at the Golden Temple for her debut production

The film is set amidst the backdrop of violence on innocent people in Punjab in the early 90s.

Mumbai: Richa Chadda has been entertaining and wowing audiences with her splendid characters on screen and now has her gears up for her maiden production, a Punjabi short film called ‘Khoon Aali Chithi's’ release.

The actress was spotted with director Rupinder Inderjit of this film at the holy place of worship, Golden Temple in Amritsar. Rupinder is also Richa’s dear friend.

‘Khoon Aali Chithi’ deals with an innocent love story of a young boy who's set on a pursuit to write a letter in blood for his lover.

The film is set amidst the backdrop of violence on innocent people in Punjab in the early 90s.

Richa was recently in the city of Amritsar, where she and the film's team visited the Holy Golden Temple to take blessings before the film’s release.

When asked Richa she said, "We were at Amritsar for the first screening of our short film with the team. It was meant to be. So we went to the Golden Temple to seek blessings for the short film."

‘Khoon Aali Chithi’ was earlier premiered at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in 2016.

The film is set to release on the digital platforms on April 25.
