Gagging the Ghosts at Phantom films

Bahl has gone to court against his partners Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.

Vikas Bahl has finally reacted to allegations against him which began months after Anurag Kashyap spoke to a newspaper alleging that Bahl had sexually harassed one of Phantom Films’ female employees. The allegations subsequently lead to the dissolution of the production house, which then went onto become a joint venture with Reliance Entertainment.

Bahl has gone to court against his partners Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane after the two posted allegations of sexual harassment on their social media handle. “In the first step to stem the allegations against him, Vikas, who still continues to be a director on Sajid Nadiadwala’s Super 30, starring Hrithik Roshan, made sure that there are no further allegations against him on public platforms including social media. The court has now asked the girl who has accused him of sexual harassment to depose. She had remained anonymous until now. Bahl is being represented by advocate Hitesh Jain,” say legal sources.

Jain has also sought the help of top Indian counsel who is handling similar cases. Bahl has been accused of allegedly misbehaving with a Phantom employee in Goa during the making of the flop film, Bombay Velvet, directed by Kashyap. This also led to Kangana Ranaut’s thinly veiled attack on Bahl for which she was trolled on social media as #HyprociteKangana.
