Riding high on the success of her film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, actress Sonam Kapoor is a fashionista who makes heads turn at any event that she attends.
“My sister is my stylist, so I am sorted. I love fashion because I do it for myself and I like clothes,” says the actress, who admits that even she repeats her clothes sometimes. “I repeat my clothes a lot while the ones I wear for promotions are all borrowed,” she shares.
While aging is one of the scariest factors in an actor’s life, Sonam believes in embracing it. “Every line on your face is earned. Aging is one of the most beautiful things because you have gone through a journey. Youth is beautiful but you can only see true beauty after you are not young anymore,” says the 33-year-old Neerja actress, who adds, “I have nothing against colouring your hair or wearing makeup, but just do it gracefully. I am not afraid of aging. When men don’t have that fear, then why should women have it?”
A star kid who has closely witnessed the industry, Sonam adds, “Everybody in this industry is only friends with you when you are successful. But since most of my friends are not from the film industry and family is such a force around me, my personal life is stable. ”
The actress admits to being an active social media user who never hesitates to voice her opinions. “I am active but I don’t feel handicapped without it. I have no addictions and that’s how it should be. The only thing I am addicted to is chocolates,” Sonam concludes with a smile.
