Sometime back actor Saif Ali Khan had hinted on working with his daughter Sara Ali Khan soon, but had dismissed Hindi Medium to be that film.
In July he had said that the idea is in the germ stages. “It is a nice subject, but it will be too early to talk about it,” was his refrain. But now the actor will be co-producing Jawani Janeman along with Jay Shewakramani. To be directed by Nitin Kakkar, the story revolves around a father-daughter and will go on floors soon.
And now we hear that the girl roped in to play Saif’s daughter is Pooja Bedi’s daughter Aalia Furniturewalla.
“Aalia is a social media star and was slutshamed last year for posting some pictures on her Instagram. The girl took over the trolls who tried to put her down and answered them with elan. She has also been looking at a good Bollywood debut and it seems that she has bagged the role that the makers were initially looking to cast Sara in. Sara is now a big star even before her release, and the makers wanted someone fresh for that character,” says the source. Looks like, another star kid is ready to make a debut.
