RPI condemns condom ad featuring Sunny Leone owing to obscene expressions

The women's wing of Republican Party of India (Athawale faction) has objected to the ad.
They have taken it up with the Union I&B ministry.
Mumbai: The women's wing of Republican Party of India (Athawale faction) has objected to a condom advertisement (TV commercial) featuring the actress Sunny Leone for its ‘obscene expressions’.
Sheela Gangurde, national secretary of RPI's women's wing, said in a statement here that she had taken up the issue with the Union I&B Ministry.
"Expressions of the actor in this advertisement are obscene and against the Indian culture," she said.
"If the government didn't act, RPI will approach the State Women's Commission," she added.
